Just six months after unveiling a set of wax figures at the Madame Tussauds of Washington, D.C., the Jonas Brothers are back with another set of waxen clones, this time in New York City.

The way we see it, Kevin, Joe and Nick must be planting these things in every major world city so that when the time is right, they can activate their massive waxen army in order to secure complete world domination. This may not seem like the best idea considering how easy it is to melt wax, but everything else has worked out just fine for the JoBros. Taking over the planet shouldn’t be too hard—they already own the tweens.

So let’s enjoy our freedom and laughter while we still can as the real bros try to hide their disappointment over the significantly lamer hairdos given to their evil clone army.

Jonas Brothers Promise Surprises on Grammy Night – [people.com]

First-time Grammy nominees the Jonas Brothers say they are each a bundle of nerves about Sunday’s big show – but are concentrating on singing, not winning.

“I’m beyond nervous. I’m not even going to hide it at all,” Kevin Jonas, 21 tells PEOPLE. “We’re going to focus on the performance. That’s what we do best and that’s what we’ll put our minds on.”

The brothers, who are nominated for best new artist, spoke to PEOPLE during a break from filming their upcoming Disney Channel series, JONAS. They are slated to perform during the Grammy primetime telecast – but are keeping mum about what they’ll be singing.

Former Teen Heartthrob Christopher Atkins Gives Advice to Jonas Brothers – [people.com]

During the summer of 1980 there was arguably no teen star more popular than Christopher Atkins. His movie, The Blue Lagoon, was one of the most buzzed about films of the year and his star power went from zero to sixty after it came out.

“I was recognized all over the planet. Everywhere. It boggled my mind,” Atkins, 47 tells PEOPLE in its latest issue. The actor, along with six other former teen idols, examines fame on VH1’s Confessions of a Teen Idol.

Looking back on his younger days, Atkins offers a bit of advice to today’s heartthrobs, namely the Jonas Brothers.

“I have a saying: He with the most stories wins because if you have stories you’ve had adventures and if you’ve had adventures you’ve lived life,” Atkins says. “There is a fleeting aspect to fame … so just live. And even when it’s gone, have fun.”

Teen singing sensations THE JONAS BROTHERS are heading for a split because bandmember KEVIN JONAS wants to go solo, according to U.S. reports.
The band – sibling trio Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas – have quickly become international chart stars with a huge, loyal fanbase.
But sources claim eldest brother Kevin, 21, is unhappy with the group’s young sound, and is secretly working on a solo album.
An insider tells Star magazine, “(He) wants adult fans, and he wants to sing adult music. He loves his brothers but he definitely wants his solo career and won’t be part of the group forever.”

The JONAS BROTHERS have assured fans they have no split plans, despite U.S. tabloid reports KEVIN JONAS is keen to go solo.
In a post on their MySpace.com page on Friday (05Dec08) the sibling trio dismissed the rumours – and each of the Jonas brothers signed off on the item.
They wrote, “There is a rumour that one of us is leaving the group. Not true. We love what we are doing and hope to do it together for a long time.”

JONAS BROTHERS – JONAS BROTHERS CELEBRATE FIRST GRAMMY NOMINATION[contactmusic.com]

Disney boyband THE JONAS BROTHERS were so stunned after receiving their first Grammy nomination on Wednesday night (03Dec08), they were left breathless.
The sibling trio gasped and fist-pumped the air after it was announced they will compete in the Best New Artist category at the 51st annual ceremony next year (09), against other acts including U.K. singers Adele and Duffy.
And the brothers insist they were shocked to have been recognised for their album A Little Bit Longer – because it is only their third studio LP.
Nick Jonas tells MTV.com, “When you start in a band as an artist you say, ‘One day, I’ll be nominated for a Grammy’. It happened, and we’re just so honoured.
“As young guys, we know that this is a privilege, and we do appreciate that. We’re grateful.”
And eldest brother Kevin admits he was left speechless upon hearing the nomination. He adds: “The air just kind of leaves your lungs. It was kind of awesome!”
The Grammy Awards ceremony will take place on 8 February 2009.

The Jonas Brothers Spend Black Friday Meeting Fans[buddytv.com]

Yesterday, on Black Friday, while many people crowded mall across the country hunting for the best deals, hundreds of teenage fans waited outside of a New York City bookstore for the chance to meet The Jonas Brothers and get a copy of their new book, autographed by the trio. According to the New York Daily News, fans lined up for hours, even days, for the chance to get close to Kevin, Nick and Joe. The boys met up with their fans at Barnes and Noble on 46th and 5th in midtown Manhattan and only the first 500 people in line were given wristbands to head inside. “I spent $1,000 on the trip for my daughter, Monica,” said one mom from Chicago. “We got here Friday at 1 p.m. and we ran here.”[read more]
